\nThe first Networking meeting<\/strong> between LifeDrylands and 6 LIFE projects!<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

Main goals of the Life Drylands project, led by the University of Pavia (Italy), are:\u2028 restoring, preserving and increasing the environmental biodiversity in dry acidophilic grasslands and heathlands of lowland in Piedmont and Lombardy Regions (Habitats 2330, 4030, 6210\/6210*).<\/p>\n

The project aims to implement innovative strategies<\/strong> to restore habitat conditions (sod- cutting, top-soil inversion, native and alien species control, and repopulation of typical native species), and new patches of the habitat target (using different vegetal materials, such as harvested seeds, raked sands).<\/p>\n

The present webinar networking meeting aims to share and discuss concrete and practical actions on the above-mentioned habitats in order to exchange good practices<\/strong> and strengthen the results of our projects.<\/p>\n

As output of this event, we expect to write a report<\/strong> containing the main indications about good practices to conserve and restore dry grasslands and heathlands.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
