🏛 The tenth edition of EUROGARD, the congress of European Botanic Gardens🇪🇺, took place in Rome from September 22nd to 26th. The theme was “Botanic Gardens in the UN Decade of Ecosystem Restoration“… a theme perfectly aligned with our LifeDrylands project! 😊!
❤️ Silvia Assini presented “EDUCATION ON HABITATS AND HABITAT RESTORATION: THE CASE OF THE LIFE DRYLANDS KIT” in the “Networking, Society, Public Engagement, and Education” section.
The Botanical Gardens of Bergamo, Pavia, and Milan Brera (which are members of the Network of Botanical Gardens of Lombardy, a partner in the LifeDrylands project) also participated in the congress.
HERE you can find the programma and abstracts of all the presentations, workshops, and posters.
🌱 Botanical Gardens play a fundamental role in the conservation and dissemination of plant heritage. And they are beautiful and fascinating places. Visit them and include them in your travels!
