LIFE FORESTALL - Restoration of Alluvial Forests and Cladium mariscushabitats in Ramsar and Natura 2000 sites
>> Networking: Sharing of information and good practices regarding actions for the containment of some alien invasive species such as Robinia pseudoacacia.
LIFE GESTIRE2020 is an innovative and experimental project for the conservation of biodiversity in Lombardy, cofinanced by the European Commission in the framework of the LIFE+ Program.
>> Networking: sharing of information, data and best practices regarding actions to maintain and improve the conservation status of the target habitats of the project.
LIFE 4 Pollinators - Involving people to protect wild bees and other pollinators in the Mediterranean. >> Networking: sharing of information and good practices on habitats conservation actions (with the aim of promoting the presence of pollinating insects) and on action involving of population.
The LIFE GRANATHA project aim to carry out a series of conservation actions needed to arrest, but also to reverse, the trend of the evolution and transformation of the heathlands, by restoring their ecological functionality (substantially with the removal of trees and shrubs invasion) and by creating the right conditions for the start of a local production chain that, through the production and marketing of brooms and other tool made by the Erica scoparia, could guarantee a continuous and lasting management of heathlands. >>Networking: sharing of information and good practices because this project envisages a series of actions for the restoration and conservation of the heaths, both through the removal of the invasive trees and shrubs, and by creating the conditions for the return of a local supply chain that guarantees active and lasting of these environments.
The LIFEorchids project aims at counteracting the current decline, and the risk of extinction, of wild orchids typical of highly biodiverse grasslands, for which the richness in orchids in a key quality indicator. Project actions include: restoration and conservative management of this habitat, reinforcement of the populations of 9 orchid species, engagement of “orchid stewards” and exchange of practices and knowledge between Italy and the Czech Republic. >> Networking: exchange of information and best practices on actions related to the conservation of dry grassland habitats - H6210*. We share the typology of intervention sites and have a common partner (Parco del Po Piemontese).
