LIFE DRYLANDS IN FRANCE TO SHARE BEST PRACTICES

LIFE DrylandsUncategorized

🇫🇷 From May 22 to 25, the LIFE Drylands project team traveled to France for an exciting replication and transfer trip (Action E2).

We visited the Conservatoire Botanique Alpine in Gap, La Truchère Nature Reserve, and the Allier Nature Reserve, all with a focus on Corynephorion habitats.

> At the Conservatoire we observed their specific layout approach, which is divided by habitats, including Corynephorion.
> At La Truchère Reserve, we discussed Corynephorion on sandy environments very similar to those in our areas, such as the Lomellina dunes.
> At the Allier Reserve, the focus was on Corynephorion derived from fluvial deposits, more similar to those found in the Ticino Park.

It was a very interesting visit that sparked mutual interest and will definitely lead to further collaboration in the After-Life phase.
