The second Training Stage for professionals of Nature is focused on the HABITAT 4030 (European dry heaths).
The programme was divided into two parts:
the first part of the day took place at the Ticino Park Headquarters at the Ex-Austro-Hungarian Customs, where we shared technical content related to the habitat 4030: typical species; concrete actions put in place with the project; habitat management issues.
After lunch we moved to the intervention site closer to Tornavento to inspect the ongoing activities and admire a beautiful flowering of Calluna vulgaris.
A group of about fifteen people, including university students, natural guides and environmental professionals, were able to try out the observation and interpretation tools from our Discovery kit “I live, you live, it HABITAT” – with great interest.
For those who were unable to register, a new meeting will be held in the June of 2023.
